PURPOSE: An apparatus for mounting a clip on a strip for preventing breakage of a bend in a strip coil bending machine is provided which mechanically mounts a clip for preventing breakage of a bend strip on the front of the strip coil before a coiled strip coil is entered into the bending machine. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for mounting a clip on a strip for preventing breakage of a bend in a strip coil bending machine comprises a clip piling part consisting of a base plate(10) which is installed on the facility bottom in a certain height, a moving plate(11) which is put on the upper part of the base plate(10) so that a plurality of clips(150) each of which are piled up are vertically laid on the moving plate(11), and vertical cylinders(12) which are installed at the lower part of the base plate(10) and vertically connected to the moving plate(11) so as to ascend or descend the moving plate(11); a holding part consisting of a post member(20) vertically mounted from the outer side of the piling part, an ascend and descent member(21) slidingly installed at the post member(20), driving cylinders(22) which are connected between the ascend and descent member(21) and the post member(20) to ascend or descend the ascend and descent member(21), a horizontal member horizontally installed at the upper part of the ascend and descent member(21), a holding member(25) which is installed in front of the horizontal member, and on the lower part of left and right sides of which pins(26) closely adhered onto the side surface of the clips(150) are projectingly installed so as to hold clips(150), and electromagnets(27) which are installed inside the holding member(25) to adhere the clips(150), thereby holding the clips(150) one after another that are put on the piling part; and a driving part consisting of rail members(30) extended to the side of a coil(100), a screw shaft(31) installed along the rail members(30), a moving block(32) which is movably installed along the rail members(30) by being in gear with the screw shaft(31), at the upper part of which the post member(20) is installed, and a driving motor(33) which is connected to the front of the screw shaft(31) to rotate the screw shaft(31), thereby mounting the clips(150) on the front of the strip coil by moving the holding part.
