PURPOSE: A device for opening and shutting doors of a bus is provided to maintain opening a door and to prevent an electric discharge of a battery together cutting off power accepted into magnetic control valves of both sides while opening a door. CONSTITUTION: A device for opening and shutting doors of a bus includes an operating cylinder(10) controlling operating of a link mechanism for opening and shutting of doors, a first and second magnetic valves(16,18), an air-storing tank(24), an operating switch for controlling opening and shutting(26), and a main switch(28). The first and second magnetic control valve is installed each in a first and second pressure chamber(12,14) formed to the opposite position to each other around the piston to control movement of a piston(10a) placed in the operating cylinder, and the first and second magnetic control valve gives and cuts off working pressure to the first and second pressure chamber. The air-storing tank is connected to the first and second magnetic control valve by a first and second pneumatic pipeline. The operating switch for controlling opening and shutting is connected to electric power to control operation of the first and second magnetic control valve and control the applying of compressed air. The main switch selectively applies power of a battery to the operating switch for controlling opening and shutting.
