PURPOSE: A multifunction integrated circuit is provided to enable a batch processing of voice/video signals, to implement a small communication device, and to remarkably shorten wiring length between each component, so as to reduce parasitic components. CONSTITUTION: A main controller(60) generates a control signal. A video codec(10) receives the control signal to code a video signal output from a camera(100), and outputs the coded signal to the main controller(60) and a modem(200). The video codec(10) decodes a video signal inputted through the modem(200), and outputs the signal to the main controller(60). A voice codec(20) receives the control signal to code a voice signal inputted through a microphone(300), and outputs the coded signal to the main controller(60) or the modem(200), then decodes a voice signal inputted through the modem(200) to output the signal to the main controller(60) or a speaker(400). An input/output interface(30) transmits a user command to the main controller(60), and transmits an inputted video to an LCD panel(500). A USB controller(40) transmits a video and a voice to a USB, to perform a data processing in an external system. A memory interface(50) transmits voice/video signals stored in a memory(700) to the main controller(60), and transmits voice/video signals transmitted through the main controller(60) to the memory(700).
