PURPOSE: To attach and detach an ink tank by simple operation and a simple mechanism without lowering the positioning accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A slip-off preventing pawl 132d is formed to one end surface of a black ink tank 130 and a latch lever 132a having a latch pawl 132e formed thereto is supported on the lower end part of the other end surface thereof. An inclined surface 132g is formed to the ridge part of the bottom surface and one end surface of the black ink tank 130. The tank slip-off preventing hole 160i in which the slip-off preventing pawl 132d is fitted and the latch pawl engaging hole 167a with which the latch pawl 132e is engaged are formed to a collar holder 160. When the black ink tank 130 is mounted on the collar holder 160, the black ink tank 130 is obliquely inserted in matching relation to the inclined surface 132g and the alignment of the slip-off preventing pawl 132d and the tank slip-off preventing hole 160i is performed. Subsequently, the black ink tank 130 is pushed in on the other end side thereof and the latch pawl 132e is engaged with the latch pawl engaging hole 167a.
