PURPOSE: A system for offering golf information is provided to enable a user to get distance and hall information by using GPS module or a golf field control center. CONSTITUTION: The system adopts a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant(10)). The PDA records the position data of a hole cup in a memory card(35). A control center(20) consists of a host computer(21) including video information and position information of all golf holes and a memory card recorder(22) to store the position information of hole cups in the host computer and to record the video information and position information stored in the host computer in the memory card. A PDA(30) held by a golfer consists of a portable terminal(32), a GPS module(34) to obtain a position coordinate by communicating with an artificial satellite, and a memory card(35) to store hole information and position information. The portable terminal consists of an input unit(321), a central processing unit(322), a memory(323), and a display(324).
