A unit consisting of an adapter (5) with markings (7) and insertion ball is placed on the conical shaft (3) of the inserted endoprosthesis. The end position of the unit is obtained by turning the adapter. The required position of the unit, obtained by setting the CCD angle, is transferred as a mark (8) on the shaft (2) of the endoprosthesis.
