PURPOSE: A millimeter wave micro strip antenna for avoiding car collision is provided to reduce the size and manufacture cost of the antenna for avoiding car collision. CONSTITUTION: A millimeter wave micro strip antenna for avoiding car collision comprises micro strip antenna devices(1) successively extending to 4x4, 16x16 array, phase delay structures(2) arranged at joints of the micro strip antenna devices(1) for supplying currents with a same phase, and λ/4 matching structures arranged at every branch of a feeding line. The micro strip antenna device is inexpensive and small and is to be readily processed. Large loss of the micro strip antenna device is compensated by designing the array of the micro strip antenna devices after accurately calculating the loss with a simulation tool. The resonance characteristic of the antenna is -32dB at 76.5GHz and -30dB at 77GHz for design, and -15dB at 76.5GHz and -18dB at 77GHz for simulation.
