Targeting apparatus for use in performing transfemoral osteotomy surgery comprising a support element (1) provided with a drill guide (2), means (3) for securing the support element to a prosthesis (4) to be implanted, and to a resectioned femur (6), and means for adjusting the angular position of the drill guide in relation to the resectioned femur about a proximal-distal axis.
