<p>In a method for the creation of expansion joints uniting building panels 1 & 2, particularly plaster-fibre panels, mounted on a wall sub-frame 3 of wood or metal, in which the expansion joints are filled with a hardenable material, in order to simplify the method and the structure and in order to improve the properties of the connection at each expansion joint, a trail 5 of a single-component reaction adhesive is deposited on one edge face 4 of one of the building panels defining the expansion joint, and thereafter the edge face 6 of the second building panel 2 defining the expansion joint is moved towards the edge face 4 provided with the trail 5 and is fixed in alignment therewith, with the reaction adhesive foaming and hardening to produce complete filling of the expansion joint by absorbing moisture from the building panels 1,2, and from the ambient air. <IMAGE></p> |
