<p>PURPOSE: A system for simultaneously removing organics, solids, nitrogen and phosphorus by alternated aeration is provided, which is characterized in that only two submerged filtering reactors are additionally installed to conventional biological process. Two submerged filtering reactors are operated with alternated aeration, so anoxic and aerobic conditions are built alternately. CONSTITUTION: The system is composed of the following parts continuously: an anaerobic tank(1), two submerged filtering reactors(2)(3), a contact oxidation tank(4), and a sedimentation tank(5). For increasing treatment efficiency, media is packed into two submerged filtering reactors(2)(3). Quantity of packed media is 3/5 of depth of reactor for synergistic effect of attached microorganism and suspended microorganism.</p> |
