PURPOSE: A device for correcting a voice signal loss of an Internet telephone is provided to enhance a VOIP calling quality by correcting a lost portion when a loss of a received voice packet is generated by deciding as to a loss or not of the received voice packet at a telephone call using the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A mike(201) is provided for inputting a voice of a transmitter. An analogue/digital converter(ADC)(202) converts an analogue voice signal inputted to the mike(201) into a digital signal. A voice coder(203) performs a compression coding of the converted digital voice signal. A protocol processor(204) processes the coded voice data adapted to an Internet protocol and outputs the data as a voice packet pattern. Elements of a voice a receiving unit are described as follows. A protocol processor(206) receives a voice packet being transmitted trough the Internet(205) and separates compression voice data. A voice data loss judging module(207) analyzes the compression voice data and judges as to a loss of not of data, and outputs loss position information when data are lost. A voice decoder(208) recovers the compression voice data. A wave form recovery processing unit(209) receives the recovered digital voice data and performs a loss portion wave form recovery in accordance with the loss position information. A digital/analogue converter(DAC)(210) converts the digital voice data outputted in the wave form recovery processing unit(209) into an analogue signal. A speaker(211) outputs the converted analogue signal.
