METHOD OF FABRICATING BIREFRINGENCE FILM USING NEMATIC LIQUID CRYSTAL AND CHOLESTERIC LIQUID CRYSTAL POLARIZER USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method of fabricating a birefringence film using nematic liquid crystal and a cholesteric liquid crystal polarizer formed using the fabricating method are provided to mass-product films having desired degree of retardation through sequential processes. CONSTITUTION: A birefringence film is fabricated in such a manner that nematic liquid crystal(20) is coated in a desired thickness using a film on which an alignment film is coated. The nematic liquid crystal is aligned and the aligned state is fixed by irradiating ultra-violet rays on the coated nematic liquid crystal. The alignment film is coated on a polymer film such as PET or TAC in order to align the nematic liquid crystal.
