Photo sensor system has pairs of arrays for each colour each having large and small range

The photo sensor array consists of three pairs of arrays (102,112 and116,126 and 139,140) to operate for red ,green and blue light. The first sensor lines in the arrays operate over a relatively large range and the others over a small range. Charges are transferred into shift registers (106,122,136) and then to output amplifiers.
