PURPOSE: To improve the high-frequency characteristics of a signal inputted to a light element. CONSTITUTION: A transmission line member 4 is composed as a micro strip line having a conductor wire 11 formed on the surface and a conductor layer formed on the entire surface of the rear surface. A high-frequency signal inputted to an electrode 14 of a package 6 is transmitted to an electrode 8 of a semiconductor laser 2 via a bonding wire 15, a transmission line member 4, and a bonding wire 16. Since the transmission line member 4 has small dielectric loss, the member 4 can transmit the high-frequency signal with low loss, and can improve the high-frequency characteristics of a signal inputted to the semiconductor laser 2. |
