PURPOSE: A method for providing information on calling parties of a mobile communication system is provided to supply information on call parties to all the call transmitted to a called terminal by promptly transmitting information relevant to a tried call to the called terminal as soon as the terminal is converted into the call enable status in case that the terminal cannot make a response. CONSTITUTION: An originating call processing unit of an MSC(Mobile Switching Center) receives a call challenge message including a calling number from a BSC(Base Station Controller)(S70). The processing unit requests information on mobile called subscribers to an HLR(Home Location Register)(S72). The HLR requests that a TLDN for a call routing through a signal network is allocated(S74). The MSC tries an outgoing(S76). It is judged whether the MSC occupies the outgoing(S78). The unit performs a call processing through an incoming call processing unit(S80). The call processing unit tries an incoming paging(S82). In case that the terminal responds to the paging, the call processing unit senses a terminating resource available trigger(S84). The processing unit transmits a facility available message to an SCP(Service Control Point)(S86). The SCP checks whether a function for displaying originating information is activated(S88). The processing unit transmits the originating information transmitted from the SCP(S90). A BSC(Binary Synchronous Cable) transmits a call signal to the terminal through a radio channel(S92). The terminal displays the called subscriber information in case that a calling signal is transmitted(S94).
