PURPOSE: A jig for sensing specification of tailgate of a vehicle is provided to exactly decide specification of assembly and to prevent assembling defect by forming detecting holes to a tailgate in the process of assembling a vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: A jig for sensing specification of tailgate of a vehicle includes a base plate(3), a gate-sensing unit(5), and a specification-sensing unit. The base plate forms a rail groove(1) in the longitudinal direction from a side of assembly line of vehicle body. The gate-sensing unit is installed to one side of the rail groove of the base plate and senses tailgate, and supports one side of the tailgate(7). The specification-sensing unit is installed to the other side of the rail groove of the base plate, senses a sensing hole(11) formed to one side of the tailgate and specification of the tailgate, and supports the other side of the tailgate.
