The present invention relates to a chain-cooling arrangement (32', 32) that operates in accordance with the heat-dissipation principle and which is intended for inclusion in a production line in which a chain (2) consisting of a series of closed links (21, 22, 23) can be produced from a series of orientated open links. The heat-dissipating or heat-transfer arrangement (32') shall, in accordance with the invention, be placed upstream of a chain-cooling arrangement (32) and downstream of a link-welding arrangement (31).
