<p>PURPOSE: A pressure-controlled injector with serially connected control valves is provided to keep the balance of force by connecting 2/2-way control valves in series, and to cut down manufacturing expenses by simplifying the structure. CONSTITUTION: An injector for injecting high pressure fuel in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine has a housing(3) provided with a housing opening(2), a control valve body(8) movable in the opening of the housing, a ring chamber(12) enclosing the control valve body, an inlet(15) connectable with a high pressure collecting chamber and opening into the ring chamber, nozzle inlets(20) connected with the inlet or separated from the inlet by moving the control valve body vertically, and 2/2-way control valves(7,21) arranged inside the housing in series. Force is balanced in opening one of the 2/2-way control valves.</p> |
