The invention relates to a case and a method for stacking sheet-like products, such as bank notes, especially of different formats. Said case comprises a stacking base for stacking sheets of the sheet-type product. The aim of the invention is to stack the sheets in a compact manner, maintaining the original stacking sequence with a high level of security. To this end, after stacking a number of sheets, at least one intermediate base plate is placed into the case above the first stacking base, in order to form a further stacking base on which another sheet-type product can be stacked. |
