The invention discloses a hygiene monitoring apparatus (2), a hygiene monitoring system and the uses thereof in a method for monitoring hygiene. The apparatus (2) comprises a measuring chamber (6) for a sample container (21). The sample container (21) contains a sample and at least a light emitting marker. There is a silicon photodiode (16) to measure the emission of the marker in the measuring chamber (6). The monitoring device (2) further comprises organs (24) for sending (A) and receiving (B) electronic information. |
