The invention relates to novel methods for producing xenon difluoride, xenon trioxide, sodium perxenonate and a xenon hexafluoride-boron trifluoride complex and also to the use of said compounds and compositions based thereon as a fumigating, sterilising, degassing, detoxicating and antiseptic agent. Said compounds also can be used as biologically active additives, pharmaceutical compositions and an agent for recovering toxic waste. The fumigating, sterilising, degassing, detoxicating, antiseptic agents and the pharmaceutical compositions based on xenon difluoride and/or xenon trioxide and/or sodium perxenonate and/or a xenon hexafluoride-boron trifluiride adduct are largely used in the form of a solution or in a physiological salt solution or in a gas medium. When used, said compounds do not produce toxic breakdown products, they are safe for medical personnel and do not exhibit high corrosion activity. |
