The wall duct (1) consists of an insulated base (5) fixed to the partition and having a central body (18) and two projecting ends (14, 15), traversed by the conducting core of a cable, and primary mechanical fixings (7, 8, 9). The conducting core of the cable is insulated from the partition by compressed insulating material (4, 10) with a compression ratio of at least 30 per cent, located between a flange on the projecting end of the duct and the partition and between the conducting core and base.
