Title cpds. have the formula: (where R1-3 are 1-5C alkyl; R4,5 are H or 1-5C alkyl, or NR4R5 is a (condensed)heterocycle; n is 2-4), a pref. cpd. being 1-(2,4,6, -triethoxyphenyl)-4-diethyl-amino-1-butanol. Prepn. is from a phloroglucinol ether via the corresp. ketone.
