PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording method in which images having high image quality and high scratch resistance can be obtained continuously while reducing the image recording cost, and a recording of images having high image quality and high scratch resistance. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording method for recording an image on a recording medium, an ink composition containing colored resin particles where resin having a weight-average molecular weight of 10,000 or above and a carboxyl group is stained with a dye or includes a pigment is mixed with a reaction liquid containing a polymer having an oxazoline group on the recording medium using ink jet system to form a temporary image which is then heated. |
