PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope apparatus which aligns illumination ranges by visible light and exciting light. SOLUTION: The white light which is emitted from a white light source 21 and is converged by a condenser lens 23 is made incident on a light guide 13 within a range of an angleα. The exciting light emitted form an exciting light source 22 is regulated in its luminous flux diameter by lenses 25 and 26 and therefore when the light is converted by the condenser lens 23, the light enters the light guide 13 at an angleβ(β<α). A moving mechanism E2 is capable of aligning the range of the angle of the exciting light emitted from a light distribution lens 11 to the range of the angle of the visible light by moving the lens 26 into the light axis direction and regulating the luminous flux diameter and the angleβ.
