摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance luminance of a fluorescent material layer of a plasma display panel. SOLUTION: Fluorescent paste contains the following fluorescent materials each having a specific surface area (BET) of not less than 1 m2/g (excluding not more than 2 m2/g) larger than the prior specific surface area; a blue fluorescent material of BaMgAl10O17:Eu2+ having a crystalline core of BaMgAl10O17 and containing a predetermined amount of europium oxide Eu2O3 as an activator, a red fluorescent material of YBO3:Eu3+ having a crystalline core of YBO3 and containing a predetermined amount of Eu2O3 as an activator and a green fluorescent material of Zn2SiO4:Mn2+ having a crystalline core of Zn2SiO4 and containing a predetermined amount of manganese oxide Mn2O3 as an activator, whereby ultraviolet ray absorption of the fluorescent layer is enhanced to achieve high luminance.
