PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine and a system data changing method for switching or changing an already stored program to a washing process relating program capable of solving the cause of abnormality. SOLUTION: The washing machine is provided with an outer tank for storing washing water, an inner tank freely rotatably attached to the inside of the outer tank, a motor for driving the inner tank, a water supply means for supplying the washing water, a load part provided with a water discharge means for discharging the washing water, a microcomputer for controlling the drive of the load part and reading the operation state, a key input part for permitting a user to input the various kinds of operation instructions and set the function of the washing machine, a display part for displaying the washing machine function and the washing machine operation state, an interface part for transmitting/receiving the washing relating data of washing or drying, or the like, to/from an external equipment, and a readable/writable memory for storing the program or the data received from the external equipment.
