PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the glare to a driver for a car traveling on the ordinary road side of a soundproofing panel installed on the road boundary of an expressway and ordinary-road parallel running section. SOLUTION: In the glare-shielding acoustical panel 1 for the road in which a sound absorbing material is housed in the contours 2 made of a metal plate in which a large number of openings for sound absorption are formed to front sections (front plates 4), the back sections (back plates 5) of the contours 2 are composed of the glare-shielded metal plate. Since the back sections of the contours 2 are glare-shielded and the reflection of light is reduced, the problem of the glare by reflection from the back sections of the contours of solar rays or the like is not generated as the driver for the car traveling on the ordinary road side in the expressway and ordinary-road parallel running section.
