PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out fishing operations in which a gripping part is readily adapted to the movement of a hand without accumulating fatigue in joint parts even in use for a long time and without causing numbness and languidness. SOLUTION: This handle of a reel for fishing is obtained by freely rotatably fitting a cylindrical part 3 of a knob A onto a supporting shaft 2 fixed on an arm part 1, composing the knob A part of the cylindrical part 3, a gripping part 4 on one side and a gripping part 5 on the other side and integrally forming the cylindrical part 3 of a small-diameter cylindrical part 3a and a cylindrical supporting part 3b. A through-hole 3e intersecting the supporting shaft 2 at right angles is bored in the cylindrical supporting part 3b and recessed parts 3f and 3g are formed at both ends of the through-hole 3e. Bearings 12 and 13 are fitted into the recessed parts 3f and 3g, and a shaft part 4a of the gripping part 4 on the one side is fitted onto the bearings 12 and 13. The gripping part 5 on the other side is fitted through bearings 14 and 15 onto the outer periphery of the shaft part 4a and a through-hole 5a, and recessed parts 5b and 5c are formed in the gripping part 5 on the other side. Bearings 16 and 17 are fitted into the recessed parts 5b and 5c and a washer 18 and an E-ring 19 are fitted into a peripheral groove 4b of the shaft part 4a and prevented from slipping off in the shaft direction.
