PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a processing agent usable as the processing agent of an elastic fiber, and having excellent antistatic properties. SOLUTION: The processing agent for the elastic fiber comprises 0.01-10 pts.wt. carboxylic acid having a branched alkyl chain, 0.01-10 pts.wt. nitrogen compound having at least one alkyl group or oxyalkylene group, and 80-99.98 pts.wt. at least one kind of a polyorganosiloxane having 1-50 mm2/s (25 deg.C) viscosity, a mineral oil and an ester oil.
