PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition for the top plate capable of partitioning the top plate and adjusting a position of a shelf member fitted to the partition surface when necessary. SOLUTION: This partition 12 to be arranged on a top plate of a desk, a table or a housing furniture to divide the top plate into plural blocks is provided with a base plate 45 to be provided on a surface of the top plate 16, a partition surface 46 stood from the base plate 45 and shelf plates 47 fitted to each of a front and a rear surfaces of the partition surface 46. Fitting position of the shelf plates 47 can be adjusted in the vertical direction and the right and left direction.
