<p>The invention relates to shaving and is concerned with a blade formed from a single crystal ceramic material. The blade presents a sharp cutting edge and support elements are provided for mounting and positioning the blade (cutting element) in a blade unit. A guard element is disposed forwardly of the cutting edge and extends parallel thereto. A plurality of parallel cutting elements may be provided. The invention also concerns a method of making the cutting element.</p> |
