PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high image quality/high productivity quick dry ink jet recorder in which a good gray scale reproducibility and stabilized ejecting direction can be ensured while suppressing blur. SOLUTION: An ink 6 produced by dispersing particles into a solvent is employed in a writing head 1 comprising an ink chamber 2 having an opening, an ultrasonic wave generating means 4 provided in the ink chamber 2 and applied with an electric signal based on an image data signal, a bias electrode 3 for applying an electrostatic field to ink in the ink chamber 2, a bias voltage control section for applying a voltage to the bias electrode 3, and means 7 for irradiating the ink 6 with light. |
