PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for efficiently decomposing dioxin contained in waste gas from an incineration furnace using a low temperature-active dioxin treating agent. SOLUTION: The dioxin treating apparatus processes as gas cooling system for cooling the waster gas discharged from the incineration furnace and containing fly has and incineration ash, a dust collector for treating the discharge gas from the gas cooling system to separate the fly ash and the incineration ash contained therein and a dioxin treating agent supply system for supplying the dioxin treating agent to the discharged gas from the incineration furnace to the gas cooling system and/or the discharged gas from the gas cooling system.
