PROFILE EXTRUSION MOLDING FOR SYNTHETIC WOOD AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grainy tone molding suitable for synthetic wood by profile extrusion of polypropylene resin, and to provide a method of producing it. SOLUTION: This profile extrusion molding consisting of a base part constituted of propylene homopolymer or propylene-ethylene block copolymer and a filler and a grain part constituted with propylene-ethylene random copolymer, where each resin is selected so that the ratio of melt flow of the grain part resin to the base part resin becomes 2 to 10, and on that occasion, addition of a modified polypropylene grafted by an unsaturated carboxylic acid to the base part resin improves extrusion processability and appearance of the molding.
