PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an usability by surely and stably holding a cup even when the opening angle of a cover body in use is more reduced. SOLUTION: This cup holder device 1 for vehicle comprises a forward opening vertical base member 2, the cover body 3 rotatable to a closed position put on the base member 2 and an opening position in use for increasing an angel thereof from the base member 2, and a holder member 4 for arresting the periphery of the cup (k) assembled between the base member 2 and the cover body 3, brought into a generally vertical stored state at the closed position of the cover body 3, and switched to a generally horizontal use state at the opening position of the cover body 3. The base member 2 and the cover body 3 are provided with receiving members 25 and 35 disposed in the state of generally flush with each other at the opening position of the cover body 3 and supporting the bottom part of the cup (k) in association with each other.
