PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reinforcing a concrete structure and a reinforced concrete structure for improving waterproofness, impeding against neutralizing, controlling infiltration of chlorine ion, and anti-freezing and fusing performance, and increasing dynamic strength and improving deterioration suppression effect, and increasing durability, and natural pollution resistance. SOLUTION: The feature of the method of reinforcing the concrete structure or the reinforced concrete obtained by the method is that a composition containing (a) a quaternary ammonium silicate of 4-25 pts.wt. in terms of solid content containing SiO2 of 10-45 wt.%, and (b) water 96-75 pts.wt. [provided that (a)+(b)=100 pts.wt.] is applied to or impregnated into a surface layer of the concrete structure or deteriorated concrete structure.
