PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for material procurement and material management capable of realizing efficient SCM construction from the viewpoint of material. SOLUTION: A material procurement source 1, a material procurement source 2, and a center warehouse 3 are connected to each other through a network 4. An unofficial order is made to the material procurement source 2 based on a responsible number to take back determined by the material procurement source 1 to procure material. The procured material is carried into the center warehouse 3 by a transport means 5 to be managed.
