PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mandrel assembly capable of facilitating speedy mounting and releasing of a drill bit and a hole saw. SOLUTION: An adapter storage part specifies an adapter storage cavity and has a first wall part through which a first detent hole passes, a bit connector fixed to a main body is arranged in the adapter storage cavity and specifies a drill bit storage part, and the drill bit storage part has a bit storage cavity and a second wall part through which a second detent hole passes. An adapter has a male screw thread part engaged with a female screw thread of the hole saw and a first detent groove on an outer face. A first ball detent is arranged in the second detent hole of the main body and is stored in the front detent groove, and a second ball detent is stored in the second detent hole and stored in the second detent groove.
