PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for holding a printing plate and supplying to a printing cylinder of a printer with a simple constitution at a low cost by improving to avoid a use of a pneumatic cylinder and to operatively couple a guide element to the printer via a lever unit. SOLUTION: The apparatus for holding the printing plate and supplying to the printing cylinder of the printer comprises the guide element 6 operatively coupling to the printer via lever units 24, 25, 23, 14, 40, 37, 36, 31, 30 and 14. Thus, the element 6 is automatically movable from a steady position to a supply position by moving holding units 1, 3 and 4.
