PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wear resistant member for an electronic device to realize stable high speed revolution without any malfunction when it is applied to bearing ball and the like by preventing accumulation of static electricity more than needed. SOLUTION: The wear resistant member for electronic device contains conductivity imparting grain of carbide or nitride of metal, etc., and is provided with the silicon nitride sintered compact 11, the electric resistance value of which is in the range of 1-105 Ωm. In the silicon nitride sintered compact 11, coagulation parts of the conductivity imparting grain in which a distance between each grain is less than 1 μm, and exists in the range of <=30% in area ratio per unit area. The wear resistant member is used as the bearing ball 12, etc., for an electronic device, and is applied to a rotary driving part of the electronic device such as a magnetic recording device or optical disc device. |
