PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery type riding golf cart provided with a function for preventing a burning caused by heating of a drive motor 3. SOLUTION: A thermistor 8 is mounted to the drive motor 3. When the temperature of the drive motor 3 is not over 80 deg.C (set temperature 1), this golf cart travels in a normal operation mode, and when the temperature of the drive motor is over 80 deg.C, the golf cart travels reducing a current value supplied to the drive motor. When the temperature of the drive motor 3 is over 100 deg.C (set temperature 2), a current supplied to the drive motor 3 is stopped.
