<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus capable of easily removing hardly decomposable foreign substances mixed in garbage. SOLUTION: The garbage treatment apparatus is provided with a garbage decomposition tank (1) having a stirring apparatus (2) in the inside, a pocket part (6) formed in a sidewall part (1a) of the garbage decomposition tank (1) and communicating with the tank (1), a screening member (8) made of a metal mesh and installed in the inside of the pocket part (6), and a freely openable and closable door member 6a, so that an object to be treated, which contains garbage and hardly decomposable foreign substances thrown together with garbage and overflows the decomposition tank (1) to the upper side of the pocket part (6), can be treated by passing through the screening member (8) to separate and remove the hardly decomposable foreign substances, the object passing through the screening member (8) can be turned back to the decomposition tank (1) from the lower part of the pocket part (6), and the hardly decomposable foreign substances collected on the screening member (8) can be taken outside by opening the door member (6a).</p> |
