PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle simple in constitution and capable of easily practicing a pivotal brake turn. SOLUTION: When a driver presses a right turning switch 25R like an arrow (3) in a drawing (a), a left electric motor 13L normally rotates, a left crawler 16L comes to be in an advancing state, simultaneously a right electric motor 13R reverses, a right crawler 16R comes to be in a retreating state, and the electric vehicle 10 starts turning to the right. (c) shows a state of turning about 180 deg. to the right. The turning area is found to be within a circle of a radius R. In this way, it is a purpose of the pivotal brake turn to minimize the turning area. The driver can start and finish a right turning type pivotal brake turn by operating the right turning switch 25R optionally. It is the same with a left turning type pivotal brake turn. |
