PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for deep-rolling having improved support of a deep rolling roller in a cage to achieve the tool with an increased service life as long as possible. SOLUTION: A tool is provided to have two deep rolling rollers 2 made of a hard material having a first mutual interval corresponding to the width of a journal, etc., for deep rolling of the fillet of the bearing journal, etc., of a crankshaft. Each roller 2 is mounted in a floating manner in a recessed part 14 in the shape of a pocket and the recessed part 14 is provided for a cage 4 in correspondence to the first interval. A cage 4 is arranged at the outside end part of a long leg part 5 of an L-shaped tool holder 6 and a second interval 8 is provided for a second cage based on the roller 2. At least one of recessed parts 17 of the second cage is formed such that the roller 2 has behavior flexibility increased in the direction of at least the first interval. Further, a support surface engaged at the outer periphery of the roller 2 is provided. |
