PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lowering of temperature of a handle 18 in a pneumatic nailer formed with an expansion chamber over the nearly whole of the inside of the handle 18. SOLUTION: A cylinder 40 for forming a heat insulating clearance 43 between the inner wall of a second expansion chamber 23 is fitted to a part of the inside of the second expansion chamber 23 in a handle 18. The heat insulating clearance 43 between the periphery of the cylinder 40 and the inner wall of the second expansion chamber 23 is formed into an air heat insulating layer.
