PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a bracket to a support a steering column in an extremely stable state. SOLUTION: A pressurizing support plate part 7a and a pressurized support plate part 7b are respectively formed through a folded back bent part 8, a pressurizing projected line is formed toward the pressurized support plate part 7b on the pressurizing support plate part 7a, and the pressurized support plate part 7b is formed flat. It is made into a sliding plate B forming a through hole 9 for fixing and a collar part 10 on a roughly central point of the both support plate parts. A bracket A to support and fix the steering column 2 is provided at a specified point of a vehicle through the sliding plate B. The sliding plate B is installed on a position of a cutout 6 respectively formed on mounting and fixing parts 5, 5 of the bracket A, the mounting and fixing part 5 is pressurized by the pressurizing projected line of the pressurizing support plate part 7a and facially supported by a flat surface of the pressurized support plate part 7b, and the bracket A is held and fixed free to move from the sliding plate B at the time of impact.
