PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip attached to a flange of an opening edge of a car body by means of a pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape in which a garnish end is covered without being affected by change of plate thickness of the flange to hide a gap or step to a garnish to improve appearance to provide feeling of high quality. SOLUTION: This weather strip comprises a grip part 3 of high hardness solid rubber, and a seal part 4 of sponge rubber protruded above the grip part 3, where the grip part 3 is applied to the flange 2 by the double coated adhesive tape. A lip 11 of sponge rubber to hide the end of the garnish 8 is integrally formed with a base of the seal part 4.
