PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral conveyor which can be easily manufactured, and which has excellent carrying ability, and a method of manufacturing its spiral. SOLUTION: In this spiral conveyor comprising the spiral without having a center shaft to be rotated in a trough to carry subject matter to be carried, the spiral is formed by fusing a metal pipe in a constant width, and spirally cutting it into a coil having an angular cross sectional surface. This spline is contained in a carrying passage in a conduit to be rotated for carrying the subject matter.
