SOIL IMPROVEMENT METHOD BY COMPACTION PILE MAKING USE OF RECYCLED GRANULAR MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil improvement method by a compaction pile making use of a recycled granular material obtained by crushing a mass of concrete as building demolition wastes. SOLUTION: A mass of concrete is crushed, a grain size accumulation curve is shown between curves 1 and 2, it is so adjusted that a uniformity coefficient becomes more than 10, the gravelish recycled granular material is used as a pile material to make to ratio of volume of the recycled granular material (the ratio of volume of an open freighting state and a compaction state) become not less than 1.15 by a side compaction pipe method using a static press-in device, and a compaction sand pile is formed to make the sandy ground improve in the bearing ground of a direct footing for a low-to-mid-rise building.
